SAA Accredited Solar PV & Battery Storage Supervisor

***12 months fixed term opportunity with view to ongoing role*** 

Salary of $110,000 – $125,000 plus super plus $20,000 vehicle and tools allowance


Purpose of the position 

The incumbent will be required to be a nominated Electrical supervisor in relevant states works are delivered to maintain the Solar Emporium Electrical contractor license. The incumbent must have CEC accreditation in solar storage systems and in battery energy storage systems (BESS).

This role will require the incumbent to complete install works on site for Solar PV and other Electrical works including battery installation 4 days per week and working 1 day in the office/ in field performing desktop and site audits.

Key responsibilities & duties:

  1. Concisely communicating with a range of people including management, company clients, trades and sub-contractors.
  2. Ensuring deadlines are met and quality workmanship in maintained.
  3. Complete in field installations for Solar PV, battery and other electrical works.
  4. Inspecting and assessing the work done by Contractors as per QA targets. 
  5. Deal with customer complaints, investigate, and resolve issues.
  6. Perform Audits on completed jobs as per requirements.
  7. Manage job field audits and customer complaints handling and resolution.
  8. Ability to deliver projects unsupervised and work on small scale installations.
  9. Miscellaneous administrative duties and support the Operations team.
  10. Other ad hoc duties as required.


Academic or trade qualifications:

  • Licensed Electrician 
  • Accreditation for Grid connected PV and Battery systems
  • Accreditation for Clean Energy Council (CEC)
  • Trade Certified
  • Driver Licence
  • White card
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)


Work experience and skills:

  • Previous experience and knowledge of Solar PV and Battery Installations and Heat Pump Installations.
  • Familiarity with state legislation, regulations, and safety codes.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise demands and oversee multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team.
  • Ability to implement safe work systems and meet all compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and CRM.
  • Positive attitude and a consistent work ethic.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and get things done.


Additional job requirements:  

The successful candidate must undertake a Medical check and National Police record check before commencement.
