Split Heat Pump with 290 Gas Vs All in One Heat Pump

R290 Refrigerant is PROPANE AND EXTEMELY FLAMMABLE

  • All-in-one has smaller volume of R134a refrigerant compared to Split System has larger volume of R290 Refrigerant, which is Propane and Extremely Flammable.
  • Split Heat Pump has flexible hoses and snap connectors and likely to leak through joins, especially over the long lifetime of water heaters.
  • All-in-one is simpler installation with only water and electrical connections (plumber and electrician).
  • R290 Refrigerant Split system requires plumber and electrician plus someone with refrigeration qualification to ensure the refrigerant loop connections don’t leak but it is not guaranteed.
  • All-in-one has smaller physical footprint so easier/quicker to install.
  • Require less maintenance and are more reliable than split systems because they have fewer components and less wiring.

Do not waste your one-time Heat Pump incentive up to $5500

Smart Technology
Heat pumps utilise an ingenious technology to efficiently transfer thermal energy directly from the surrounding air and into the water, and so do not rely on direct sun or fossil fuels to provide an energy source.
Did you know?
A heat pump is like an energy multiplier. From 1 kW of power input, it can create over 4 kW’s of output heat2. That’s a performance efficiency of a remarkable 400%. Where as conventional electric storage water heaters can only convert 1 kW of input power into a maximum of 1 kW of output heat.
Energy Efficiency
Did you know?
Water heating accounts for nearly a quarter of the energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in the average Australian home.

What are the benefits of Installing a Commercial Electric Heat Pump

A commercial electric heat pump is a heating and cooling system that uses electricity to transfer heat from one place to another. It is an energy-efficient alternative to traditional heating and cooling systems.

A commercial electric heat pump works by transferring heat from the outside air (in the case of an air-source heat pump) or the ground (in the case of a ground-source heat pump) into your building. It then uses electricity to compress the refrigerant and raise its temperature to provide heating or cooling.

  • Energy efficiency: Electric heat pumps are one of the most energy-efficient heating and cooling systems available, which can result in significant cost savings over time.
  • Environmental friendliness: Electric heat pumps produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions than traditional heating and cooling systems.
  • Comfort: Heat pumps provide both heating and cooling, which can help keep your building comfortable year-round.
  • Durability: Electric heat pumps are durable and can last longer than traditional heating and cooling systems.

There are two main types of commercial electric heat pumps: air-source heat pumps and ground-source heat pumps. Air-source heat pumps are the most common type and are generally less expensive to install. Ground-source heat pumps are more expensive to install but can be more energy-efficient in some cases.

When choosing a commercial electric heat pump, you should consider factors such as the size of your building, your heating and cooling needs, and your budget. You should also consider the climate in your area and whether an air-source or ground-source heat pump would be more appropriate

The lifespan of a commercial electric heat pump can vary depending on factors such as usage, maintenance, and the quality of the equipment. However, most electric heat pumps are designed to last between 10 and 15 years.

The cost of a commercial electric heat pump can vary depending on factors such as the size of your building, the type of heat pump you choose, and the cost of installation. However, the cost of a commercial electric heat pump can range from several thousand dollars to tens of thousands of dollars.

If you’re interested in installing a commercial electric heat pump, be sure to consult with a qualified professional to determine if this is the right option for your building.
