Position Overview:

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the HR Administrator will support the organisation by providing true generalist support. Working closely with key stakeholders onshore and offshore to provide reliable and timely HR support to our managers and employees. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and promoting effective communication within the organisation. The role will also support employee onboarding and offboarding and will manage the end-to-end recruitment process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reliable and timely HR support to our managers and employees.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including advertising positions, pre-employment checks, prepare employment agreements and complete all required administration tasks for new hires.
  • Support the onboarding of new employees, induction program, probation reminders to manager, action employment changes and offboarding employees.
  • Administer the annual performance development plans (PDP) for management and employees on a bi-annual basis. Monitoring PDP completion rates and issuing reminders as required.
  • Administer online HR and OH&S compliance training utilising the company Learning Management System (LMS) and coordinating external learning and development opportunities.
  • Play a crucial role in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and promoting effective communication within the organisation. 
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of employee engagement and wellbeing activities.
  • Other ad hoc project work to support the CPO and other departments.

 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management.
  • Demonstrated work experience of minimum 1 year in a similar HR role would be highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation including Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.
  • Ability to take initiative and be a problem solver in a smaller office environment.
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the business and with external stakeholders.
  • High level organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise own workload and deliver to tight deadlines.
