Objective
In anticipation of a future dominated by electric cars, Mitsubishi Berwick aimed to reduce their electricity load and invest in a sustainable energy source capable of powering electric vehicles while minimising reliance on the grid.
Solution
Cyanergy implemented a 59.4kW solar PV system, featuring 108 JASolar panels and 2 Sungrow inverters. This solar solution is projected to generate 80.904MWh annually, providing a sustainable and efficient means to offset the electrical consumption of future electric vehicles.
Environmental Impact
Beyond substantial energy savings, the installed solar system will contribute to Mitsubishi Berwick’s commitment to environmental stewardship. The system is estimated to save Mitsubishi Berwick $22,621 annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 126,402 kg per year. This emission reduction is equivalent to the impact of planting 2,090 seedlings for 10 years.
