The Healey Factory Project
The Healey Factory has been in operation since the 1970s, and it has grown into a professional sales, service, parts, and restoration/accident repair facility. The Healey Factory staff is composed of 27 individuals who have a wealth of experience in racing, rallying, and car building.
The Healey Factory decided to invest in solar PV after being recommended to do so by previous clients. After investigating the financial return of solar PV, The Healey Factory found that it was still a worthwhile investment despite changes in the renewables sector.
The ChallengeÂ
On average, auto dealerships consume more energy than a typical office building because of lighting and air conditioning and other workshop-related systems such as compressors and vehicle hoists.
The Solution
Cyanergy installed a 59.4kWp system was installed using high-quality smart PV panels and a 50kW inverter. Careful consideration was taken during the system’s design in order to avoid shading from the upper roof and cladding upstands.
